SMSC stands for Short Message Service Center which is responsible for delivering the message in mobiles. If sending SMS fails,Your message center number may be empty or wrong. Basically, Android phone have NO setting or application to change message center number. But, there is tip to change it.
Step:
1. Go to Phone Dialer, and press: *#*#4636#*#*
2. Select Phone information
3. Scroll down to bottom of the screen, you'll see the field for SMSC setting.
4. Click Refresh to see current SMSC number.
5. Change the SMSC number as you want (call your operator, and get the message center number)Then, click Update.
some time when you update the number it says "update error", but dont worry SMSC is updated, check again to conform That's it!
